Fundraising campaign from Hand zu Hand e.V.
On 09.09.20 ecos systems GmbH donated an amount of € 1,000 to the non-profit association “Von Hand zu Hand e.V.”. With this donation, the managing director Dr. Hansjürgen Becker wants to support not only the association itself, but also the chairman Mr. Emanuel Popescu in his work.
Mr Popescu himself is an employee of ecos systems. In his spare time, he and his fellow association members support people who have fallen on hard times through no fault of their own, especially socially disadvantaged families in a particularly economically deprived area in Romania.
The main goal of the organisation is to offer poor children a perspective. For this purpose, the after-school project “SMART” was launched. Here, children get a warm meal after school, receive support with their homework and can then play together in a protected environment.
The majority of the donation will be used for hot meals. Currently, many children have to be taught from home, but unfortunately not all children have the opportunity to do so. Most of them do not have a computer or internet access. Therefore, part of the donation will be used to provide internet access for some of the children.
