The ecos Lenel OnGuard Integration streamlines key and asset management by syncing ecos webman with OnGuard in real time. It enables single-credential access, immediate alarm visibility, and dynamic control based on asset status, enhancing security and reducing administrative tasks.
GENERAL INTEGRATION
The integration of ecos and Lenel OnGuard is done via the Lenel OpenAccess interface. The ecos interface imports all Lenel cardholders and their basic information such as first name, last name, e-mail and department that have valid access to an ecos compartment or ID plug.

Basic configuration of the Lenel OpenAccess interface including the interface address and access data.
Initial one-time import using ecos webman.
Cyclical automated data import for users and access rights from OnGuard to ecos webman and to export historical transaction data from ecos webman back to OnGuard.
Key Features
OnGuard Cardholders and Badges
The cardholder import requires that a clearly defined badge is assigned to the OnGuard Cardholder which can be achieved by defining a specific badge type for the ecos import or if generally only one badge per user exists in OnGuard.
OnGuard Expiration Date and Badge Status
The import is requiring the badge to be active and not expired, otherwise the import will skip the specific user and badge.
OnGuard Access Levels
It is also necessary that the OnGuard badge is assigned to an OnGuard Access Level that allows access to a specific ecos ID-plug or compartment container.
ecos History Data and Alarms
The events recorded by your ecos product are automatically transferred to OnGuard so that you are always informed about important events without having to switch applications.
Egress Protection
The OnGuard egress protection is also supported to ensure that users can only leave a building when all objects have been returned to your ecos product.
