Honeywell EBI Integration
The ecos Honeywell EBI Integration streamlines key and asset management by automatically keeping ecos webman and Honeywell Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) in sync.
GENERAL INTEGRATION
The ecos interface imports all EBI cardholders with valid access to an ecos compartment or ID plug, along with their credentials, permissions, and basic details such as first name, last name, e-mail, and department. Honeywell EBI remains the single place where users and access rights are managed.
How it works
Basic configuration of the Honeywell EBI interface, including the interface address and access data.
Initial one-time import using ecos webman.
Automated data import on a regular cycle for users, credentials and permissions from Honeywell EBI to ecos webman, and export of audit trail data, alerts and alarms from ecos webman back to Honeywell EBI.
Key Features
EBI Users and Credentials
Users and their credentials are managed centrally in Honeywell EBI and synchronised to ecos webman automatically, so there’s no duplicate data entry and no risk of records drifting apart.
EBI Permissions
Access to specific ecos ID plugs and compartments is controlled by the permissions assigned in Honeywell EBI. When a permission changes in EBI, the change is carried through to your ecos system at the next sync.
ecos Audit Trail, Alerts and Alarms
All audit trail data and every alert and alarm generated by your ecos hardware are shared with the Honeywell EBI event and alarm viewer. You can monitor activity and produce centrally managed reports without switching applications.
Anti-Passback and Egress Rules
You can design anti-passback and egress rules in Honeywell EBI to restrict how keys and objects move through staff routes at entry and exit doors. For example, a user can leave the building only after returning every item they took out to your ecos product.
One interface. Total control over keys and assets.
Sync users and permissions automatically, send ecos audit trails and alarms straight into Honeywell EBI, and control the movement of keys and objects with anti-passback and egress rules, all without switching applications.
