GENERAL INTEGRATION
The integration of ecos and Genetec Security Center is done via the Genetec API. The ecos interface imports all cardholders and their basic information such as first name, last name, e-mail and department that have valid access to an ecos compartment or ID plug.

Basic configuration of the Security Center API interface including the interface address and login key token
Initial import settings for ecos webman which specifies a matching of ecos user group to Security Center access rule
Cyclical automated data import for cardholders and cards via access rule

Security Center Cardholders
The cardholder import requires that the cardholder is assigned to a specific access rule which provides access rights to the specific door or key managed by your ecos product.
Security Center Expiration Date of Cards
The import is requiring the card to be active and not expired, otherwise the import will skip the specific cardholder and card.
Security Center Access Rule
It is also necessary that the cardholder is assigned to specific access rule which provides access rights for the ecos ID plug or compartment.
ecos History Data and Alarms
The events recorded by your ecos product are automatically transferred to Genetec Security Center so that you are always informed about important events without having to switch applications.
Egress Protection
The egress protection is supported to ensure that users can only leave a building when all objects have been returned to your ecos product.
