Dr. Becker in the Senate of Economy Europe

Dr Hansjürgen Becker has been appointed to the Senate of Business Europe (International). He represents his ecos systems group in the Business Senate.

The Business Senate is made up of personalities from business, science and society who are particularly aware of their responsibility towards the state and society. Together they contribute to the practical implementation of the common good-oriented goals of sustainability in the sense of the eco-social market economy.

The Senate of Economy thus revives the traditional idea of the senates in antiquity. A balanced circle of friends of independent mind followed the common good instead of particular interests alone.

The Business Senate is thus purely public-spirited and in constant dialogue with representatives from politics and science. Honorary Senators are Jean-Claude Juncker, Prof. Günther Verheugen, Prof. Klaus Töpfer, Dr. Jürgen Rüttgers and Sigmar Gabriel – among many other experts – driving the SENATE. Honorary President of the Senate International is Nobel Prize winner Mohammed Yunus.

The ethical principles of the Senate are also the basis and guideline for the economic actions of the members of the Senate. Fairness and partnership in economic life, social competence of entrepreneurs and executives shape the work of the Senate.
